Structure

The tool contains forty practice examples outlining different types of initiatives undertaken by employers’ organizations and other business actors in a wide number of countries in the search for more effective action on youth employment. The examples are organized around three main topics:

• Training and Skills Development
• Entrepreneurship and Self-Employment
• Policy Making and Advocacy

The user can chose the field of interest by searching through Topics or via the Country selection, or find a full list of the entire practice examples in the Overview section.

The tool also includes selected documents and refers to tools and links the content of which is deemed useful to strengthen the capacity of employers and their organizations to effect action on youth employment.

The tool comes in two forms: an internet version and a CD-Rom version. The two are currently the same, although it is foreseen that the internet version will be updated and expanded in the future.
